The first love is the sweetest but, the first cut is the deepest.
Today was a golf game against lowell and Galileo. I was kinda nervous because it has been a while since I last played and I thought I would do pretty bad. My first hole I did bad but then after I got to play more holes I got better. It was my best game so far and I it my first boogie. I ended up with a score or 61 which probably isn’t great to others but a huge accomplishment for a guy who has only been playing for like two weeks. After the game the team, coach Mark and tommy ended going to Kevin’s noodle house. It’s been a while since I’ve been there and I had a rice plate because I always get pho and wanted something different. I also got a mango slush which was also good. The rice plate was probably one of the bests ever. I can’t wait til the next meet I’m excited to play and want to beat my score of 61 trying to get in the fifties would be an ideal goal. And can’t wait to go out to eat win team for some more golf team bonding. Time to spend the last few weeks of senior year bonding with the homies. OPI in 3 days I am most definitely excited!!!
Suddenly things were different.
Probably one of the worst weekends of my life. It was the weekend of college acceptance or denials. As I sat anticipating my college acceptances reality hit me. I got rejected from UCSD and got put on the wait list for UCD. I still have a chance for Davis since I am on the wait list and I hope that I will be able to be accepted. As for San Diego I really would have considered going there. I still have some hope I am anxiously awaiting responses from Irvine, and Berkeley. Hopefully I get removed from Davis and I can be accepted. That would be a dream come true.
After a long week of school it was finally the weekend. It was a good weekend also. It first started with having some frozen yogurt on Saturday and Sunday. Some from nubi’s and some from this yogurt place in Tanforan. I also found a place to play basketball in Millbrae also. It was at Taylor Middle School. Its outside but I guess I have to deal with it since palega closed. I had a really long Sunday. It started out with my last session of driving with my instructor. He showed me a couple routes that the driving place will take place so that I can get a feel for the route. Then when I got home it was time for me to switch cable companies. Finally after 3 years with Direct TV we got Comcast. Direct TV was bad I didn’t like it. It has few channels for and expensive price. It took a while for the guy to set it up but he finally did it. This also means that after 6 months of no TV in my room I finally can watch TV in my room now. Feels good actually. Then I went shopping at Tanforan and got a few things I liked. When i got home my dad started to teach me some more skills in driving. I realized that I am still pretty bad a driving and need more practice. I felt confident but after driving with him I’m not anymore. Hopefully I will get more practice and master driving soon.
Inspiration.
